Stephen Waller, the eldest of three brothers, was born in KwaZulu-Natal. He was raised in a loving Christian family, but lost his birth mom early on in life, whereafter his father married his stepmother. This meant some relocating during his formative schooling years.

Stephen studied Electrical Engineering at the Port Elizabeth Technikon and the University of Cape Town and has spent his entire professional life working for a well-known South African telecommunications company.  Much of his day-to-day work includes reading and document creation, which has sculpted his writing abilities.

He made some serious mistakes in his life, and wants others to learn from them, so that they don’t have to make the same mistakes.  His book, The Search for Serenity, conveys his testimony and hopes to point others to The Way, The Truth, and The Life, the ultimate source of peace.

Stephen is married to Teresa, and they have one daughter, Serenity.  They currently live in Pretoria together with their two dogs, Tara and Togo, and are part of the Choose Life Church family.

 He enjoys cooking and local travel, prioritising family over the other joys of life under the sun.
