Jesus revealed God to us as His Father and then included us in His family by teaching us to use the intimate name “Father” too.  The Lord’s Prayer is not meant to be recited as a religious duty. It is for those who are followers of Christ, disciples of Jesus.  It is for those who esire a deeper relationship with our Father (Abba) who is in heaven.  This prayer gives us the key to Kingdom living as children of God.
